[Abstract] Objective To analyze the levels of vitamin A, D and E of children aged 0-15 in Yiyang City, and to provide a reference for guiding children to supplement vitamin A, D and E in Yiyang City. Methods A total of 406 infants and children who underwent physical examination in municipal and county-level maternal and child health centers in Yiyang from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The levels of serum vitamin A, D and E of each child was measured using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry method, which were analyzed for different ages. Results Compared with children aged 0-3, children aged 4-6 had the lowest level of vitamin A, while children aged 13-15 had the lowest level of vitamin D, children aged 7-12 had the lowest level of vitamin E, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was significant difference in the proportion of vitamin A and D deficiency and lack and normal among different age groups (P < 0.05), while there was no significant difference in the proportion of vitamin E deficiency and lack and normal among different age groups (P > 0.05). The detection rate of vitamin A deficiency and lack in children aged 0-3 was the highest, while the detection rates of vitamin D and E deficiency and lack in children aged 7-12 were the highest. Conclusion The overall levels of vitamin A and E of infants and children in Yiyang City are acceptable, while the overall level of vitamin D is poor and gradually decreases with age. Attention should be paid to the vitamin levels of children, and vitamin D supplementation should be appropriate.
